Just shape the granola bars to look like pencils, decorate and enjoy! They’re great as fun treats in lunchboxes, afternoon snacks, or quick morning bites. Makes 2-4 Servings
Ingredients:
1 Carton Oats & Honey Chewy Granola Bars
1 Bag Chocolate Chips
Yellow Fruit Roll (lemon or mango)
Fresh Watermelon, cut in small 1-inch pieces
Fresh Fruit, optional side
Supplies:
Butter Knife, Pizza Cutter or Kitchen Scissors
Microwaveable Bowl
Directions:
- First, cut the tip of the granola bar on each side to resemble the point of a pencil.
- In a microwaveable bowl, melt some of the chocolate chips, reserving 10 for the tips of the granola bar pencils. Attach the chocolate chip pencil tip to the granola bar using the melted chocolate.
- Next, cut the fruit roll into thin strips using a pizza cutter, knife of kitchen scissors.
- Place 3 strips on top of the granola bar so it resembles a pencil.
- Then, cut a small rectangle out of the watermelon for the eraser and place at the end of the granola bar pencil.
- Serve with fresh fruit!
