Made with Sunbelt Bakery Lemon Meringue Chewy Granola Bars, drizzled with melted orange candy, and topped with green frosting for a cute carrot look, they’re great for Easter baskets, garden parties, and kids’ lunches! Makes 8 Servings
Ingredients:
- 1 Carton
Lemon Meringue Chewy Granola Bars
- Orange Melting Chocolates or Candy Coating
- Edible Easter Grass
Supplies:
- Piping Bag
- Parchment Paper
- Wooden Skewer
- Butter Knife
Directions:
- First trim the granola bar on each side lengthwise to a point in the shape of a carrot.
- Next melt the orange candy coating according to package instructions and pour into a disposable piping bag.
- Then cut the tip off the piping bag and drizzle the candy coating in a back and forth motion horizontally across the granola bar carrots laid on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Let dry completely.
- Now take a wooden skewer and make a hole in the top of the carrot.
- Cut about 5 pieces of the edible Easter grass and push into the hole at the top of the carrot.
